The School Day

Arrival at School

We ask that parents should drop students on Threadneedle Road or facilitate a short walk from the car if not walking, cycling or getting the bus from home. Parents are not allowed to drive through the school gates unless they display a valid Disabled Parking permit.

Entry and Exit Doors

All students will be shown their entrance/exit doors during their first day back. From then on, when a student arrives in or leaves the school, they must enter and exit through the door that has been assigned to that student's year group.

The Student must proceed straight to their base room and directly to their own desk. Students may not congregate at each other's desks or lockers.

Lockers

Where possible, and should the student request one, lockers will be assigned to the students. On return to school, students will be issued guidelines as to when they can access them safely. Please minimise, in so far as possible, the equipment and books that students carry to school. Please ensure all books and equipment are clearly labelled as items left lying around the school will be disposed of.

Payment of Locker €10 and School Journals is €10 and can be made at any time for online through easy payment plus on the school website.

Face Coverings

According to the most recent Dept.of Education guidelines,face-covering is strongly recommended in post-primary settings.

• Students will provide their own mask/covering and keep a spare mask/covering at all times in Ziploc bags or other suitable containers.

•Masks must be plain in design and not display inappropriate images or slogans.
