School Self Evaluation
School Self Evaluation is an integral part of school life as it focuses on school effectiveness, school improvement, quality enhancement, professional development, the effective use of resources and managing change.
◊
Its purpose is to maintain and, where possible, improve on high standards by working collectively, gathering feedback and trialing new initiatives, thus improving the teaching and learning experiences for students and staff.
In 2019, Salerno was chosen as one of the 10 Post-Primary schools to be involved in the national Wellbeing Action Research Project. Parents, students and staff were surveyed and, as a result, the SSE team are engaged in a project looking at the role each class tutor can play in promoting wellbeing.
